The Arrow Play 3D C-Core is a high-performance sea kayak from the Arrow family, designed for paddlers who want agility, control, and real fun in dynamic sea conditions. This is not just a touring kayak. It is built for maneuvering, surfing and playing in moving water.
Hull Design – Fast, Responsive and Precise
The Play features a pronounced rocker and defined hard chines, giving it excellent maneuverability and quick response to edging and paddle input. The high-volume bow helps lift over waves and performs confidently in surf.
The slightly rounded mid-section allows smooth transitions from edge to edge, making the kayak feel fluid and predictable. Whether you are carving on a wave, rock hopping, or paddling in confused seas, the control feels direct and intuitive.
Suitable for Day Trips and Weekend Adventures
Although designed as a playful performance kayak, the Play 3D C-Core is also practical. Multiple watertight hatches provide secure storage for gear, making it suitable for day trips and short overnight expeditions.
Carbon C-Core Construction – Lightweight and Stiff
The 3D C-Core version features a carbon hull construction. Composite sea kayaks are the preferred choice for serious sea paddling where weight, stiffness, and efficiency matter.
Each kayak is handcrafted from layers of fiberglass and carbon fabrics bonded with high-grade marine epoxy resin. Vacuum technology ensures an optimal strength-to-weight ratio, delivering a lightweight yet durable performance boat.
